What Inspired Me To Make The "Trackmaniamatt" Channel:
Many other people, like ramahfool, DaWillstanator, Trainlover476, ToonKryticY2K, and other successful YouTubers, have been making AWESOME and successful "Thomas And Friends" videos over the years. And when I got a look at them, I thought to myself: "Hey! Maybe I should create a YouTube channel similar to what they do!" And THAT, was the start of another successful YouTube channel, created December 29th, 2010... by the name, of "Trackmaniamatt".
My first video:
I didn't create any videos for the channel... that is, until August 8th, 2011 (YES, a FOUR month span until I uploaded my first video). It was for a contest for a YouTuber named"Ramahfool", called the "If You Give An Engine A Truck" contest. You had to create a video based off of the book "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie", with the FIRST line being "If you give an engine a truck,". And the rest of the video, could be whatever your imagination thought of. I did MIINE AFTER the contest already ended, so MINE was up on there just for a little fun.
A trend continues:
After "If You Give An Engine A Truck (trackmaniamatt)" was uploaded, I continued to upload videos to the channel. I made videos of MSTS(Microsoft Train Simulator), Need For Speed (the FIRST NFS video, "Barnyard's Most Wanted Racers", in MY opinion, was one of my CRAPPIEST videos on the channel EVER!), and other topics. I gained subscribers quickly, and I was fascinated with the amount I got.
Tomy T&F Is Born:
After, like, 5 videos, I decided I should have a Thomas series. Turns out, I had some TOMY/Trackmaster engines, rolling stock, track, buildings, etc, lying around. So I thought to myself: "I know what to do with these! I'll make a series out of them!" So THAT is how Tomy T&F was born. The first episode, "Thomas In Love" (Part 1 uploaded August 9th, 2012, and Part 2 uploaded August 10th, 2012), however, was a rip-off of Trainlover476's ORIGINAL "Thomas In Love", and Ramahfool's "Thomas And Tillie". I realized "Oh man! This is BACKFIRING! Negative comments are NEVER good! I should make my episodes more original." And so, when it came time to do the episode "Prank Wars" (Part 1 uploaded February 4th, 2013, Part 2 uploaded February 5th, 2013), I made it my own idea. After that, more videos are here on the channel. And I have become very, VERY successful ever since.
